Very nice group home!

My mother-in-law has been a resident for two and a half months and is still adjusting. We live in Virginia, so have not been to Kierland since the middle of May. What we have experienced has been good overall. Very nice and capable staff with a lovely setting. Mom would like better food, but at 96+ it could be her taste buds too!

Blessing in Disguise

My mother passed away over a year ago but had her last 15 days spent at Kierland Sanctuary. She had been placed in some very scary places due to her condition and demeanor. When she finally made it to Kierland I felt such a relief that she would live out the rest of her time on this earth with dignity. The caretakers were amazing with her until the end. Now my father is at Kierland Sanctuary and I am so grateful he is getting the care he needs after breaking his hip.

Great Care, Laughter and Delicious Food

Coming to an assisted living place you are coming from a place of vulnerability. I came to recover from surgery and not being able to walk on my own, I realized the first night what a vulnerable position I was in. However, my concerns were put to rest immediately with the great and loving care I received immediately and for the duration of my stay. [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] are the loving caregivers I have had for three months. They are now my family and I will miss them terribly when I leav…

You need to be an advocate for your loved one in the community. I feel like that if I wasn't on top of things would be overlooked.

Board & Care Homes

Current active Arizona Department of Health Services Assisted Living Home record from AZ Care Check. Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-401 defines an Assisted Living Home as an assisted living facility with resident rooms for ten or fewer residents. CareOpenly therefore uses the official home license type as a Board & Care proxy. The public map record does not expose the state license number, licensed capacity, operator relationship, current availability, price, or fees, so none are inferred.
