PositiveSince the sale food service is bad
Since the sale of the property the food has declined substantially. Very few choices and quality has gone down. I am looking at moving because the new owners do not care about the residents. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Since they took over on [date removed] I have not received a correct monthly billing.

My sister’s health has declined due to several factors. Kingswood doesn’t offer transparency in their review policy! Kingswood doesn’t offer have ample staff to handle the many needs of an End-of-Life patient. The combination of Kingswood and KC Hospice may not be a good fit for a patient with mobility issues. The Kingswood reviewing policy is extremely restrictive, so they’re able to control the implications and openness of reviews submitted by family members. Residents requiring assistance with personal hygiene aren’t a good fit for Kingswood Care Center. If your significant other, friend or relative isn’t able to fully care for their own personal hygiene and toilet needs independently, it would be in your best interest to seek another facility rather than Kingswood. The staff is pleasant as long as they’re able to socialize with their colleagues. My friend, significant other and/or relative developed bed wounds due to lack of proper hygiene. They chose death over life …

I have already moved into Kingswood. The facilities are old, but they've been well kept. The food is very good. It's just not what they provide, you have many choices, and that's good. There are lots of physical activity. The people seem to be very friendly. Because of the friendliness of the residents, I would give it a 5. I haven't participated much in activities because there are so many problems, but I think they'll be just fine. I have been staying here for about a month now.
