CriticalLayhill what a joke, I been in a few rehabilitation places but not hard hearted place like this,in the day time when visitors and family members are on hand this place can run like clockwork always someone on hand to answer your questions but come 4:00 office door's are locked and then Layhill will turn it's ugly head, you see evening shift come on hand and you just know your about to have a bad evening and you will, with medication passed out late, dinner ice cold and call bell not being answered at all, …

PositiveMy husband was there for a month for rehab. The physical therapists tried their best but his mental condition prevented him from grasping what he had to do. The staff were all kind and capable. The halls were decorated for Christmas and cheery. My husband's room looked out on a pleasant courtyard and he could watch people coming and going. The food was good. I had hoped that he could stay there for assisted living but they had no room.

CriticalLayhill Nursing and Rehabilitation needs to know what Alzheimer’s and Dementia is. Their staff doesn’t understand why a patient with Alzheimer’s and Dementia is confused!!! Go back to Medical school and/or get more training in the disease itself. 6.5 million Americans are suffering with Alzheimer’s. You need to know how to care for these patients.

PositiveI was a patient at Lay hill for three weeks for physical and occupational therapy following a total knee replacement. I was very pleased with this facility. My private room was comfortable and cleaned every day. The food was basic and nutritious. I found the staff to be very helpful and professional. I had physical and occupational therapy six days a week. I would like to thank the nurses, doctors, aides, physical and occupational therapists, for all of their help in my recovery. I would highly recommend this facil…

CriticalI am staying here at the Layhill Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation. I wore out my right arm and had shoulder replacement surgery. I've already had about two weeks of therapy here, but none of it involved working on my right arm. I had very little therapy while I was here. So, I've been here since then and they would not release me, because my shoulder had not quite healed yet. The director has only been here for 6 or 7 months. He seems to be a decent guy, but he's got his hands full. They have …

CriticalMy relative is currently there and when I call to get updates, I either have to wait on hold for 30+ mins or dont get a call/email back. Recently I took her lunch at 1:15pm and left it at the front desk since she was quarantined only to find out it was taken to her at 6pm, cold. I hope staff can improve their quality of care and coordination as we are trusting our loved ones to them.
