My sister is currently at Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation of North Austin. Everything is fine there. It's a wonderful place. It's the best nursing home I've seen in Texas. The staff is very good. It's just that the residents there are not able to have a conversation with my sister because a lot of them have Alzheimer's. The environment there is what's taking her down. The only people she can talk to are the staff, and they don't have the luxury of time to have conversati…

My parents moved to Legend Oaks two months ago. It was convenient, and the experience has been good. The staff has been very good and caring. The overall cleanliness really stands out. They have a lot of activities for the elderly groups; they do bingo and trips.

CriticalWe were greeted immediately upon arrival. The facility is very nice, clean and new. We met with the administrator who shared with us all of the processes she put in place to address the low scores from their audit. She also explained that it was a particularly tough audit (even though she wasn't there at the time) because the federal auditors where there simultaneously, checking up on the state auditors. Overall a positive experience. The negatives, however, were that the Director had misinformed us (not on purpose…
