It’s taken me 9 months to write this, my mother lived there for 6 months of hell for her sorry mom she was 94 yrs old she was 102 psd when taken there leaving there she was71 pds . I used to ordered her groceries from Walmart every 10 days because American food was never a choice for meals it was fish fish or chicken. I paid them to moms hair cut and they cut it like a boys hair cut, I’m so sorry mom for putting you thru hell in this place. Please take this one off your list. Jim

Definitely a good fit for our family

We chose Madera Assisted Living because of the proximity to where we live as well as the staff members. It is also a smaller community which was appealing to us. They do have a couple of different room sizes, my mom shares a room but they all seem to have plenty of space. She likes the food, they are fresh prepared meals. Overall, I would recommend.

Madera Assisted Living Home is pretty nice for a smaller facility. It's one level, and it's laid out pretty nicely for the amount of people that they have there. The staff is very helpful. They coordinate doctors' and dentists' visits. They have a pre-prepared monthly menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They're really nice, attentive, and very caring. She went shopping the other day, and she has a small pet, so she's able to sit outside with them. They have people come in and do the…

There are several smokers that smoke right outside my mother's bedroom at Madera. Smokers should smoke 25 feet or more away from a bedroom, not next to or right outside. This has been addressed but nothing has been done to stop this. No Fresh Fruit served and several meals have been Served cold on several occasions and should be Served hot. Laundry Services takes as long as a week to get dirty laundry Returned.

I come to this home each week to visit the residents. The staff is always on top of making sure the residents are eating well and receiving the care they need. Would highly recommend this home to any of my friends or family.

A loving home in Gilbert AZ

Madera Assisted Living Home is been such a warm and caring place to transition my mother to a group home. I know my loved one is safe and the staff interacts with all the residents in such a positive way. The food is great and the home is always clean. I feel blessed finding Madera and know my mom is in good hands day and night.
