Run far away as fast as you can!

After moving into Bldg 2 of Manchester Lakes only seven months ago, I can honestly say that I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Nothing but problems since I moved in. Inadequate parking spaces led to my car being towed twice; packages stolen from apartment door; broken water heater leading to major leak in bathroom requiring new carpet and flooring; no hot water when weather is cold; sidewalks not cleared of ice during deep freeze weather; holes in walls allowing rodents to enter apartment from outside; no …

I'm in Manchester Lakes Senior Apartments. It's a senior citizen community, and it is pleasant. The people here are nice. It's quiet, and that's the biggest thing. I was really surprised. I didn't think I would like it, but I really like it. I talk to the property manager from time to time. The residents that I have talked to were nice. My apartment is like a two-bedroom. It's not too big, not too small. It's really nice. I enjoy it a lot. It has a nice-sized kitchen and everythin…

Great Place, Great People, Convenient Shopping!!!

Great place the convenience of everything being close is to die for.... Restaurants, groceries, etc..... Neighbors are great very homely sense of community can't say enough about the people.... The community center being built across the street I can't wait for it to open.... Walking trails, dog park, plus movie theater, metro and mall 2 minute drive if not 1 minute.... The only issue is the air conditioning but they're working on it...

It has been a wonderful place with wonderful people. Shopping and activities are very close and plentiful being surrounded by shopping literally across the street and a small store on the grounds. They’re building upon it with the community center literally on the grounds

There are some maintenance issues at Manchester Lakes Senior Apartments. There are two buildings in this apartment complex. One building is renovated, so the rents are a little higher than the other building, and I'm looking at the former building, which has not been renovated because it's a little cheaper. So, they just need to look into general maintenance because it's a little shabby. The staff was delightful though. They are paying for water. So, you have to get electricity, utilities, and cable.…

I toured Manchester lakes three times over period of one month to see 2 units and to make sure the building was safe etc. After my visits the staff was very nice. But my scheduled appointment tour was conducted by maintenance because the leasing staff was out. He took me to an unacceptable unit. I shared that to him and to leasing this was pre Thanksgiving Wednesday. I returned to see “a better unit”. The ceiling was patched from air conditioning break upstairs. Leasing said they fix.
