CriticalMy friend was in Maryland Masonic Homes. She hated it; apparently her food was served cold. The facility was beautiful in the exterior. She fell in the bathroom one day, and had trouble getting up. A staff member came in and looked at her and said, "you got down there, you get up." There didn't seem to be any complaints about the cleanliness, but some of the staff were insensitive at the least. Her son took the Uber and food out there so she would have a hot meal. She was not happy there from the mom…

PositiveMy dad is at Maryland Masonic Homes. It is a nice facility with really caring staff. My father has dementia, so he's in good health, but he is not in his right mind. The place is very clean. Because of COVID, the dining is now shut down and they do in-room dining, but normally there are three restaurants here. Normally the clients eat in a restaurant, they can have guests, and you can have a meal with them, but due to COVID restrictions right now, there's in-room dining only. There are all kinds of activi…

PositiveMy mom moved into Maryland Masonic Homes. The rooms were very nice, very well-kept up, very pretty, and theres a lot of room in them. The staff is extremely caring, constantly calling, checking, and letting me know whats going on. Everything there is just outstanding. They offer everything from little clubs to meetings, to selling things, to ceramic. They have music every other day for the residents to listen to. The food is excellent, its like going to a restaurant. I would recommend it to anybody and everybody…

PositiveMaryland Masonic Homes is very nice. They got nice stuff there, and it is very fine. It is for my mother, and she seems satisfied with the food. They have old people stuff like bingo and other activities. It is fairly recent, so I don't know a whole lot about it. She's been there for a month. I don’t really know the security, but there is a guard at the front desk, and that is all I know.

PositiveMy brother and I toured a number of places when we were searching for a new home for our parents. Although Mom died before we could implement the move, we followed through with moving Dad into the Maryland Masonic Home (AKA Bonnie Blink, Scottish for "beautiful view"). First of all, Bonnie Blink is gorgeous. Built from grey stone, it is literally a castle on a hill, located just behind the Hunt Valley Mall in Cockeysville, Maryland, on acres of gorgeous pastoral land. The staff are exceptionally caring, friendly, …
