I'm pleased either way the facility , clean, lively atmosphere and the staff is ALWSYS attentive friendly and welcoming! Meals are always balanced and enjoyed by the residents. There's a nice table with fruit ( bananas, oranges and apples) and a large ice water dispenser with cups available all day. There's an outdoor rectangular park ( walled) with planters and bird feeders , tables, chairs and rockers for the occasional walk around. Private bathroom in each residence. Overall, the staff have been fine, although there is room for improvement with the activities. Food has always been a challenge. Cleaning has been getting better, and it is good to see that improvements are being made to the building. The one-bedroom apartment felt quite small. We ultimately decided to bring our family member back home because they were not able to care for themselves properly. I am very glad that I decided to come to May River instead of other places we looked at. The staff are very helpful and friendly . The building is very clean and pleasant, as far as the rooms go I am happy with my one bedroom. As far as activities it really depends on the individual as to how much they want to get involved. I find the residents very friendly and l enjoy getting to know them. Food is very substantial and we have choices if we don't want what is on the menu.
