CriticalTerrible experience.
The place has gone downhill. Some of the best staff has left. I’ve been told 7 residents moved out last month and 7 have left this month. Staff members have told me at least 17 residents are leaving. The management is awful. Unfriendly and a terrible egoist. Blames everybody but herself for the problems that happen. I will be moving my wife out soon

We are moving my mom to another place. Her room was just a bit small, but the biggest issue for us was the food. The food was not very good, and I felt management needed to pay closer attention to the concerns that were being raised. That said, with all the concerns and unhappy families speaking up, I am now seeing management make some adjustments. I hope they continue to listen and make improvements. I wish them well.

Repairs to the apartment were not completed by move in and the cook quit so the staff was trying to fill in. So food left a lot to be desired. I think the issues are due to a new director, office manager on maternity leave and the loss of their cook. All things that will get better in time.

I toured The Addison of Bluffton. I like it, and I think it's closer to my home. It was clean, and it seemed the studio rooms where the residents would stay were nice. They were spacious enough. The director was friendly and easy to talk to. It was easy to get around the place. They have PT, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. I was pleased with the place. The staff seemed professional and friendly. I haven't admitted my husband in there yet, but from what I saw, it looks pretty good. I saw one stud…
