PositiveI toured Meadowbrook Manor-Naperville. I noticed that the people are very friendly and accommodating. The building is pretty clean, and a good place for senior living. They had activities planned out, and the building itself is nice. The room felt homey. Some of the rooms, like the waiting room, felt like a small living room. It did feel like it could be a good, comfortable place to live.

CriticalThe person who took us on a tour at Meadowbrook Manor - Naperville was very professional and very helpful, but they assigned 10 to 12 patients to one nurse, and I think it's a lot. So, it wasn't what I was expecting. The building needs a little maintenance. I expected the room to be a little better, also. This kind of facility takes Medicaid, and it was a very sad environment. I wasn't very pleased, but the lady was fantastic, and they do whatever they can that they think is best. I liked that the fl…

CriticalIf I had somewhere for my loved one to go, I would get him out of there NOW. They tell you everything you want to hear to get them settled into their facility. Yes, some of the staff is very genuinely nice, but they are not the ones caring for them. Your loved one may get moved to a shared room when paying for a private room. Be sure to check this out! The "shared" rooms are tiny, stinky and just horrible. They lose and break the residents' belongings and don't even try to find them. They do not take responsibility…

PositiveOne of the best places that I went to was Meadowbrook Manor - Naperville. As soon as you walk in, it smelled good. They were very helpful. I was visiting a loved one, and as soon as I walked through the door, someone greeted me. The patients were happy. She enjoyed the food. They had activities. It was a very nice place. The rooms were clean. She was involved with different games, bingo, and activities every day. She was very happy there and so was her roommate and the other people that we saw in the cafeteria. It …

PositiveThis is for the physical therapy department. I have had much therapy in my life, but I want to say this department was the best ever. The head of the department gave me a new lease on life after working with me, I will forever owe him he is a totally qualified and knowledgeable leader. His staff is also very qualified and caring and do a fantastic job with all patients. They are all 5 stars and above, and I owe them all especially their fantastic leader.

PositiveMeadowbrook Manor - Naperville is a nursing home, and I liked what I've seen. It felt like home. I just liked what they did and what they showed me. The price was a little bit less than where mom is at now and they accept Medicare or Medicaid. However, they never got back to me and I don't know why. They were going to have to review her clinical report because there's a couple of people that had to look it over, but they never contacted me and I left them two messages. I was impressed with the rooms …
