Dirty Uncaring. My mother's dr never got back to me. My sister spoke with the dr after we decided to remove my mom. The dr defended my mom's teatment with the statement "75% of the women here have Unrinary Tract Infections" That may be but it's not normal. If you're waiting to die, this may be the place but if living is your goal, stay away

Merrimack County nursing home is great. My aunt has been there for six months now. They have counseling for the relatives. They have a recreation room, community room, and exercises if they are capable of doing them. They're doing good with her, and they get to know them. The nurses and the staff are good, and the counseling people are excellent. I went to a meeting with my cousins, and they seem to know what they're doing. She has a very tiny room. The food is good. It has a restaurant or café and a hair…

I volunteer as a visitor. I am there several times a month. I see this facility as a palace of sorts, where the resident is king and queen. The comfort level is high, and the staff provides a personal feeling with everyone. Even volunteers. To the top dog down to the part time facilities; everyone gets involved with the residents to one extent. From short conversations in the hall to getting residents to an event via elevator.
