Gunner was willing to meet with me very quickly and made me feel very comfortable right away. She allowed my granddaughter to walk around the house and visit the residents while we talked. Very open and meals can be accommodated to each residents needs and desires. She emphasized that they were like a family.

Overall Mission Home was a very nice place. The facility is very decent, though it is a little difficult to find. I was very pleased with the personnel there. We ended up choosing another place for my mother simply based on location - we selected something that was in a more reasonable proximity where her friends would be able to visit regularly. I was very impressed with what I saw there though.

We saw 2 of the 4 homes in this complex. Bright, cheery, and nice outside areas.

Onsite staff woman gave me tour and answered questions. Much nicer than Acorn Oaks; clean, well-maintained, pleasant. Neighborhood not that nice (not scary, just lower-end). She is sole staff 5 days/week, 24 hours/day; other staff weekends. I liked her; she seemed happy and comfortable in her job and tuned in to residents' needs. Does all cooking. Only 2 residents currently, licensed for 6. Nice lawn in back yard. Residents typically bring own furniture for rooms. Occasional trips/activities - to casinos, zoo, Belm…

she does not have a yearly increase and has four homes ? she is great and really cares for her residents. They have a big focus on healthy food - fresh fruit and vegetables
