If you need hospice for a loved one, be sure to do your own homework... are they a for profit or non profit? Are they brick and mortar in SD County? How long have they been around?Are their staff employees or independent contractors? Do the social media links on their websites even work? Get referrals from your family physician. Good for less active, bedridden people. They are well equipped.

I wasn't very happy about the fact that most of the patients there were bedridden. Some of them seemed close to dying. So there was not much activity going on. My loved one was not bedridden, so she was kind of lonely and felt a little bit weird to be in that situation. But I think they did okay with care of my loved one. Look Elswhere

Everything was great, they took care of my loved one. The issue was that COVID went through the community, and the manager left. The staff contracted COVID, and they left. This entire situation wasn't handled right. Everyone that was there with my loved one passed away in the community, including my loved one. I've told several people not to go there. Some personal belongings were taken from my loved one.
