North Pines Assisted Living Facility

The tour of North Pines was impressive. The bath room’s newly renovated were easy accessible and spacious allowing for chair showers. General area was clean and each resident had there own chair blanket. Meal smelled great. It appears to be a great place for my father

North Pines Assisted Living was very nice, but there were a lot more residents, and I just felt that if there's a person who's very social and enjoys a lot of people, it's fine. However, my husband is more of a keep-to-himself homebody, and I felt the other place would be a better fit for him. There were probably 10 residents in the common area when we went through, and I just felt like that's a lot of people to take care of, and I'm not sure how many staff they had there. New Ownership, Still Check Everything

My previous reviews are no longer valid. I just felt the need to inform potential residents. If you are placing your loved one here, keep your eyes open, ask for certifications of those providing meds and question everything even though you may not receive the entire truth. Over the past 4 years including new ownership/same management, I have had to address serious health and safety related violations. There are past alliances between management and a few staff members. Exceptional Place For Your Loved One and Mine

I have had an exceptional experience since placing my Mother at North Pines. She has been there since [date removed]. The Owner, Manager, and staff are ALWAYS pleasant, patient and respectful toward Mom, myself and family. I never worry because I know that she is well taken care of both emotionally and physically. I thought it was very nice for Christmas when they had their own dinner, bought presents for the residents, and even sent pictures of the event. Extremely thoughtful staff!!!

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father was in this horrible place for 11 months. During that time, he NEVER received an actual bath even though we were paying for it. The place was always dirty and smelled horrible. My father was hospitalized 9 times for infections. The staff was never around when we came in. On one occasion, I came in, took my father out to the car and left, then called to speak with him. Nothing Special

Hi , my Mom was only there for a little less than a month . She went down hill fast and had to go to Gilchrist hospice in Towson , where she substantially passed away . North Pines was OK , however we had a few concerns . First they didn’t seem to have much help at night . The patients seemed to roam around at will . And now after 30 days , [name removed] owes us around 3,000 dollars and won’t return our calls . I guess a lawyer is the next step .
