Not Good When You Need Them Most!

They can be okay when everything is going smoothly. But my sister is a resident there and she became very ill. I have not been able to get a return call from them, nor have I been able to speak to my sister. I have tried all their phone numbers. It is now [date removed], I have been trying to contact the facility since late December. I have called their management, direct numbers... Before this, they picked up the phone professionally. I have no idea what's going on! It's very unprofessional!

Very impressive care home. Admins is very knowledgeable with caring for elderly. Caregivers were well trained on ADL. Facility is well maintained and safe environment. Food were nutritious completed balance. Activities wise I’ve witnessed residents and staffs participating on regularly on schedule. I felt safe and confident with the facility. So glad mom is in good hand with Oceanside Rest Home.

Accomodating, Gracious and Understanding

We were expecting more assistance at night but they are not set up for it. The head nurse cares for 3 of the Oceanside Rest Home so she is not always at one place or available, she does have assistants but the residents don't feel as comfortable with them as with her. It seems like the residents are just left to their own entertainment. There is no organized socialization except for the meal times. Sierra and the head nurse were very accommodating and gracious.
