My mother has been a resident for a year at PearTree. We have found the staff very friendly, experienced, and able to assist with all her needs as she is bed dependent and also has dementia. Although it's smaller than other facilities, this actually has been a positive as all of staff knows my Mom and what her needs are and when I call, I can talk to the person who answers the phone and they can provide answers without me having to be switched to other staff. I find this invaluable.

PearTree-The right decision for Mom!

We selected Peartree for several reasons. Since mom is bed dependent and needs a two person lift, it was one of the facilities that could accommodate her needs. It also is in an area we are familiar with as it is about two miles from her former home, which I stay at when I visit. Third, there are only 15 residents, so every staff member knows my mom and her needs. I visited this facility

I liked Peartree House a lot. It would have been my first choice, except that it’s too far from where my mother lives. The room looked very nice and was a very good size. They could put furniture in for or you could put your own. They had people from the local churches come in on Sunday for services, so it just seemed very nice to me.

Hmmm....

Good luck getting your mother tested for a UTI. Took a trip to a specialists office AND the ER to get her the antibiotic that she needed.

I visited this facility

The Peartree House was an excellent place. The facility itself was beautiful and very nice. They have beautiful comfortable recliners. They have one big sun room or day room looking out all the trees and shrubbery. There were several tables there that you could sit in the table, in a recliner or a comfortable couch. Everybody was like together and nobody was excluded or off the side somewhere. Their rooms were nice as well and the people were friendly. Their staff couldn't be nicer when we visited.

Loved the place. We would probably have picked this place for her, but the price was out of our budget.
