Whenever I first did a tour of the place I thought God has answered my prayers!! My mom would be close to us and it would be great fit. Well, the day my mom moved in the facility it smelled just like urine and Shi*!! After I got her in the memory care unit it didn’t smell. All of my family members were like why did you place her here? After a few days goes by I noticed that my mom bed was being made up pissy and they were not using her hygiene products! I was not impressed with the office staff… they do not return calls. The place is so dark and gloomy. We were rushed to find a memory care facility at the time and they were the first ones to say they had a room. When I got there to view it, I got a sick feeling in my stomach. Piedmont Christian Home Inc has a very welcoming atmosphere when you walk in. It's very clean and the staff is very friendly and very helpful. My father's in a private room and it's about average size. It has a shared bath and it's comfortable. They have movies, crafts, and games, and for the ones that can venture out, they take them out shopping and stuff. It smells like urine, all the bathrooms are always out of order, they dont make the residents wash, ive seen residents with the same dirty clothes on for days, they are constantly falling the have bruses, an they dont let the workers wear gloves, it just seem like they send people there to die, it needs to be shut down, the administrator is rude an doesnt care about the residents, they have ants an roaches not a goid place at all, the staff does what they want
