I am/was a resident of this facility

I've been living in Piedmont Crossing for quite a few years now. I do not need medical care, but I do get my meals. There is a clinic here with a doctor two, or three times a week. They provide transportation when I need it. I live in a two-bedroom, two-bath house. The community is very small. It's in a country area. The meals are fine. Breakfast is usually good. Everything in the room is all mine. I'm very satisfied. I do not have a kitchen. I have a refrigerator and a microwave. I do exercise. We h…

I visited this facility

We are on the waitlist for Piedmont Crossing. We toured it and we selected a patio home. It's more like a regular home and it's not in the main campus area. I think we'll be able to start with independent living. You can migrate to assisted living if you need to, and then they also have skilled nursing. We get full access to all the main building amenities. They had a gym, recreation, and a dining area. They have field trips and stuff on site, and they have a movie night. They have about everything w…

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother is in Piedmont Crossing. She's in full care and it's pretty good. The rooms are nice. The facility is really nice, clean, doesn't smell like urine, and nicely decorated. The food is not good though. The common area and dining area are nice. It's well-maintained and modern. The staff is very nice and very caring. It's expensive, but it's probably one of the nicest centers in Thomasville.

I highly recommend this facility. My mother spent a month in rehab and she was sorry to leave. She received the kind of care money can't buy. Everyone we met couldn't have been nicer, more professional and kind. The nurses were amazing, the rehab staff top rate, the food was great and they tailored her meals to her taste. They took care of everything! I could go on and on with glowing reviews. This place was a godsend to our family. We will be forever grateful for their kindness.

Piedmont Crossing is such wonderful place. My mom moved to Piedmont Crossing 5 years ago and I can't say enough good things about it. After losing my dad, my mom needed to be around people. We found the best at Piedmont Crossing. Mom started living again. She smiles, she's happy, she's met new friends that fill her day with joy. On top of the social benefits, mom gets to enjoy her home without the worries of upkeep like mowing her grass and home repairs. And if she needs care later on, they have that…

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My mom is happily ensconsed at Piedmont Crossing in Thomasville, North Carolina, which is her hometown. It is a full retirement community, which has everything from cottages to nursing home facility and in-between. It is associated with the United Church of Christ, and that was her choice of place, but she's very happy there. She is in a section of this facility that is called the Pavilion; the people living there are those who are still independent minded and capable to do their own ADL's, but there is a…
