PositiveI toured Pin Oak Village. I liked the community room, it was nice and big. I like the patio area. There's also a patio area off of the community room with a gazebo, and I like that. However, the staff who gave the tour was not friendly and not outgoing. But the building itself was clean and nice. Even outside, the day that we went, they were whitewashing the brick.

PositiveI lived at Pin Oak Village before my husband passed away, and then I moved with my daughter, then she decided to move to Texas, and I don't want to go to Texas. So I decided to call to see if they had another vacancy and she said sure. So it was no problem getting back there. It's beautiful when you first walk in and they have an exercise room. PositiveI liked Pin Oak Village. I liked the location, near a bunch of stores that I frequently use. They had a pool and a gym there, and they had a lot of amenities for active seniors. There were plenty of grounds to take a walk on or ride your bike. It was very nice and well-kept. The staff who showed me around was very knowledgeable about the property and about the area. He was nice.

CriticalThis is not a safe place to live . Residents cars have been stolen and broke into . The A/C system they have is poor . If you yourself or a loved one would like to live here PLEASE MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE . The lighting is very poor at night . You do not feel safe . Yo really feel like the property team just does not care . They care about your rent money or income for paying the rent . Do not move here !!!

PositiveI toured Pin Oak Village and I liked it a lot, but they wanted a lot of personal information and details from me which I did not want to provide. The information that they needed had nothing to do with me renting an apartment. The apartment that I saw was very nice and well-kept, and it was a good size. They would give you a parking space. PositiveWhen I visited the community of Pin Oak Village, I got a chance to speak to some of the residents and they were all very friendly and seemed very happy with their stay there. Some of them had been there for many years. I liked that they had a library because my dad does a lot of reading. I liked that it was clean, too. They had a large party room/dining hall and on that particular day of my visit, they were using it to celebrate someone's birthday. It just seemed like it had a very welcoming feel.
