I visited this facility

My sister will be moving into Pine Ridge Family Type Home for Adults. We liked it. It's a small place, but it's clean. It seems like a very friendly, nice environment. I met Carmen, who seems to run it, and Mia, who was the nurse, and they were very nice. The one my sister is going into is a shared room. It doesn't look like they really have a lot of activities. They have a TV room, and I guess they could all sit and watch TV. It's close to my home, so I could visit. It seems very nice.

There tended to be a limited few of activities. My mom had a great experience there. [name removed] and staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Fantastic. Facility is very clean and very much home-like. Overall, I would highly recommend for individuals who would do well in an intimate environment.

I toured the Pine Ridge Family Type Home for Adults. It just seems small for the inside and you can't put too many people in there because it would be crowded. We sat in her dining room and we were talking and it's a house. So that's how the whole place is. It's very comforting because it's a home. They made it very homey and comforting. Pine Ridge Family Type Home for Adults had indoor and outdoor activities. It's not really what they call a secure facility for memory care. The patients can go outside, sit, and do stuff. It's a nice place. There's nothing bad that I could see about it. But we're particularly looking for a level of care for dementia. The rooms were neat and spacious. They have their own bathrooms.
