I find my mom in memory care. I have indicated to the memory manager with my moms dementia they cannot ask her if she want a meal or go to the bathroom, they have to TELL her its time to eat or go to the bathroom. If asked her answer will always be no. My only problem is not all caretakers either havent been told or dont remember that directive. Hence one comes in to ask her if she has to go to the bathroom, shes says no and the caretaker is barely 1 step out of the room and she cries out she has to go to the bathr…

If you truly care about your loved one, consider alternatives to this facility. They exploit residents and force them to endure suffering and separation from their families.

Rehab for Grams 2nd time

There are a couple crabby employees but the staff there are exceptionally nice. I'd recommend Railside. We all want the best for our families and they will get that here, hands down. They're all expensive for full care... 200.00 a day. Can't get around it.

A great place for your loved one

Railside Assisted Living is one of the only family owned assisted livings left in the state. The family is very involved and take great care of their building, and really care about the residents and staff. This community has a great reputation in the community of high quality care. They have been around for over 20 years. The staff go above and beyond. This is a wonderful place to work and live.

The management team and the staff work hard to meet the daily medical needs of their residents as well as providing them with delicious food and opportunities for activity and socialization.
