PositiveMy loved one recovered at Regency's rehab after a stroke and fractures, and then had a short/extended stay in "Long Term Care" before recovering enough to go home! The staff was compassionate, the Therapy Department was so amazing, and there are countless kind staff members who took the time to get to know and anticipate my mom's needs. From Admission to discharge, we had helpful staff along the whole journey. The facility is really clean and actually smells nice (which is VERY rare for a nursin…

PositiveI moved my aunt into Regency so she could be close to me. Her previous care center was not great. I never knew a care center could be so amazing. The staff which know me on first name bases, Are always kind and answer my questions. It is a family like atmosphere and I enjoy visiting. I enjoy it so much that I am filling out paperwork so I can volunteer there. I’m so grateful that there is a place so wonderful in Monroe. To know, my aunt has the best care gives me peace of mind. I can’t think them enough

CriticalUnderstaffed and the staff they do have in the reflections unit (dementia) residents are very rude to the them when they think no family or friends are around. I personally witnessed a evening nurse yell at old lady over a night snack. I listened and when I popped my head around the corner for her to see me she started talking so nice and went got the sandwich. I can’t imagine how they are treated when family isn’t around. They don’t have enough fluids given to them their meds are not given properly if you speak up…

CriticalMy father is at Regency Care Center. I think they’re very understaffed, and my father doesn’t get the care that he needs, but they’re doing what they can for him. He is doing physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. They need to improve on staffing. They have several dining rooms, and they’re all fine. The food is just nursing home food. There’s nothing wrong with it. It is just nursing home food.

PositiveThe care was pretty good at Regency Care Center at Monroe from what I saw. My dad was there for physical therapy. It seemed a little bit dated, but it was still very nice. The food seemed pretty good.

CriticalDad was in Regency Care Center for observation because his dementia was really getting to him. The accommodation was okay. They had two people in that room. They gave them their meals like you were in a hospital. They had his medicines but they said that they have a year’s waiting list for that place so he couldn’t stay there. I would say his stay was okay. We wanted to keep him there but there are a lot of people wanting to be in there because the cost is a lot less money.
