When my husband first got out of the hospital after his surgery, he went to River Terrace Health Campus. He was there for like five days. His wound became severely infected, and he had to have another surgery because of that. The hospital sent instructions for treating his wound every day. I just assumed River Terrace was doing it, and I never actually checked the wound, which I should have. I blame myself because I didn't check on them. Our experience

This is a beautiful facility. She had a beautiful room. Some staff was very helpful others not so much . Asked for a bedpan was told you have a diaper on ,right?just go in it! Food- most meals were ice cold , few were like warm. Who likes cold food? Staff knew for a week when she was going home. Day of discharge all staff had been told all week she would be ready to leave at 8 am. The nurse that day said there are 20 patients ahead of your getting medication! Avoid at all costs

I would not recommend River Terrace to anybody. If you are looking for a place to send your love one to die this would be the place. The care was absolutely terrible. Avoid this place at all costs.

No service available on any phone line

I been trying to contact River Terrace at all times of the day and evening. They never answer the phone even at the nurses station. Tried calling a patient and she never answers. You'd think a nurse or someone would hear the phone keep ringing and assist the patient. I would have never taken my mother to this facility.

My loved one stayed here for her respite care, and I feel it was a very good experience. The staff were just so nice, accommodating, helpful, and they did just what they had promised. The place is really clean and well maintained. The food also looked really good. I would certainly recommend River Terrace to others.

I visited this facility

River Terrace is new and it seems to have everything that a person could want. It's a very nice community. The room is very new and very nice. I could have the things I need there like my television and my computer. The lady I talked to was very nice.
