Don't move your loved one in there.

That place is infested with bed bugs. The whole building. Warning do not move in there. The food is so awful, they never fix anything. A lot of bed bugs and roaches. When confronted they get upset. Terminex just walks through says they treat but the infestation is getting bigger. Please do not move into this place. The stress is not worth the savings.

Our experience at The Rose of Waterloo

I wasn't happy with The Rose of Waterloo. The manger was difficult to deal with. My loved one was happy to get out of this facility. The food was awful and was always cold. Overall, our experience at The Rose was poor.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father has moved into The Rose of Waterloo last week. There is a monthly charge for that and then you get five emergency calls included with that monthly charge. They always wear the emergency pendant and there is a charge for that per month, too. If you need help with things, they have it all listed and what it would cost per hour to have that assistance. They have lunch and dinner seven days a week. There's always a nurse on site, 24/7. They have a calendar of activities like bingo, dominoes, and even som…

Great place to live.

My mom is so happy at the Rose. When at home she was closing herself off from people, now she is involved in the activities. I am impressed with the cleanliness of the entire place. The staff is always very friendly, and say hello as we come to visit. I would definitely recommend The Rose to anyone looking for a place to call home, because that is what it is HOME!

Nice Apartment Space!

As far as I know, things are going well for my loved one since the move to The Rose of Waterloo. Everyone is friendly and he really likes the space and the fact that he got an apartment that is affordable. They have some trouble with the out of state referral, but I think things are getting figured out now.

I'am Pleased With This Community

My father loves it here, and everything is working out pretty well. This is a lovely community, they do a very good job with the cleanliness. The staff is very good, they have been very friendly and helpful to my father. At the moment they are working to get another activities director. The meals are fair. I'am pleased with everything they have done for us. This is a community I would recommend. they are caring for my father very well.
