PositiveOverall the building was very big and spacious, so much room for our mom. A lot of places to be social. Everyone was very kind. Staff seemed to care. Kitchen staff was awesome and food was delicious! Chef was very kind and knowledgeable the tour cookies are super yummy! Overall the choice is up to my mom but I personally believe this is a great fit!

PositiveGood, but room for improvement
A complaint that I have about the administrative staff is that they do not respond to emails. It's difficult for me to call them during the day because I work. My mom complains that her food is often served cold. Earlier this year my mom got sick and I had to take her to the doctor. After I brought her back to Savanna, I stopped at the concierge desk and asked if the nurse could check in on her the next day. I was told she would, but she didn't.

Overall, I would not recommend this facility. They do not take care of their residents. The urine smell was overwhelming each visit we made. We paid for hygiene services that were not given. It was horrible overpriced, and the care plans were inflated to boost the rates. While at the hospital we were informed by the hospital that our loved one was not able to return to Savanna House. There was no communication with us regarding issues. We would have gladly found another care facility however; they chose to be very …
