CriticalThis facility is dirty and the patient care is lacking. My mom lived here for several years and has deteriorated from it. They don’t do bathing on a regular schedule and don’t clean in her room at all. There are bugs everywhere. The place used to be nice but new management has destroyed it. I got her out and would never put a loved one here again.

CriticalMy mother moved into this facility on [date removed] and sadly passed away on [date removed]. She was there for just 15 days! I found a voice recording she had accidentally taken on her phone, her breathing was so loud, raspy, and wheezy that she should have been immediately transported to the hospital. My brother was informed of our mother’s death via a voicemail! A voicemail! They have absolutely no proper procedures in place to deal with the death of one of their residents. I find that unbelievable! I was left…

PositiveI moved into SeaCoast at Uptown Oaks. It's like an apartment. I have my own bathroom, that when I need to go, I don't have to wait in line. I have my own little kitchenette, that if I want to make coffee at 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 in the morning, I can do it. If in the middle of night I'm hungry, I can open up a can of soup, a can of spaghetti, warm it up in a microwave. The room is very large. It's like a studio apartment. They said they have three meals a day. The staff is really nice, hospitable, an…

PositiveSeacoast at Uptown Oaks was clean. It was an old place. There were a lot of people out and about socializing. There were no activities when we were there, but it was kind of close to lunchtime. It was nice. They had a nice smoking area and an enclosed area. They couldn't wander off. Their facilities were nice. The people were extremely friendly. The staff who gave the tour was a salesman. He was a nice guy. It was an older place, so it wasn't bright and sunny like a lot of the newer places. It was three s…

PositiveSeacoast at Uptown Oaks was pretty nice. We looked at it, we talked about paperwork, and we're considering it. The tour was good. The receptionist was very friendly. The lady on the tour was very friendly and knowledgeable of what we needed to do, what the cost would be, and everything that we needed to know. She knew it right off hand, so it was pleasant. The rooms she showed us were fairly nice, and they were in the process of being updated and repaired. I noticed the hallway needs a little bit of repair, bu…

PositiveMy sister has moved into Seacoast at Uptown Oaks. She was very happy with it. She was happier when she came to the room. She looked around and looked for things that belonged to her. That made her feel more comfortable. It's very essential that when they come in, they see something that is theirs. That made a huge impact on her, knowing that she had little things here, like pictures, and her little accessories, something that she could relate to. The space is pretty good. It's very homey. She's in a …
