Overall, we have had a positive experience. The community offers a nice variety of activities, including bingo, crafts, cards, worship services, devotionals, happy hours, entertainment, animal visits, and movies. Staff make an effort to encourage residents to participate. Most staff are friendly and helpful, although staffing can sometimes seem limited, especially in the mornings. Overall, what I observed was what I was told in the conference room. I did see wheelchairs and walkers, but I visited at lunch time so I did not see residents moving around in what I would describe a small area. Small not necessarily being bad. I would have liked to observe residents passing each other or moving in that space. Memory care was described as small and intimate. I do believe that’s what it would be and therefore good for someone like my husband who has been at home. It had that smaller home like feel. …

Care good! Food don't know. Very clean room little small, activities don't know. There's a couple of things that I don't like about the place, but I'm not getting into that! We are just gonna deal with it! If something else comes available, then we'll take it.

I was very impressed during my tour. The Memory Care appeared to be hands on around the clock, which I expect for my spouse with severe dementia. The facility and workers appeared very friendly and well trained to care for my love one, which gives me peace of mind. Overall, the location, building and care facility appear to be extremely secured. Thank you for your professionalism and positive impressions.

Room for improvement

The apt size is great. Food is good. Facility is clean. What is lacking is communication. We don't get any information from the care team. Phone calls aren't returned in a timely manner if at all.

Not Patient with Transition

I could write pages about the poor treatment my father received here. But I can summarize by saying that he was assessed by their facility as a level 2, which means he was walking unassisted, toileting independently, but due to his Alzheimer's disease he needed direction. We moved him in. On the first evening he was resistant and aggressive, during the day he was confused but compliant. The second evening, they sent him to the hospital. They didn't contact us. After being moved into their memory care wing, he died…
