SERRA MESA GUESTS HOME III LLC

Serra Mesa guest home offered my stepdad a loving, warm home while he was on hospice care. The staff was always welcoming, as my family visited often. The home was kept very clean! The owner, Evelyn, was kind and a great communicator. She worked well with hospice care , who frequented the home. Thank you for taking care of my family member in a loving way.

Nice Location

I would recommend the community to others. There are several nice things about this community. The staff is accommodating, friendly, nice location, has a lovely backyard and patio area, and everything seems very clean. The food wasn't great, it seemed lamed. My loved one felt that the lunches were leftovers from dinner the night before. The other negative was the transfers from bed to chair and back.

Wonderful Home

We are so pleased with Serra Mesa Guest Home! [Name removed] and her sister [name removed] have been wonderful and genuinely care about the residents and their families. Our father has been doing so well there as opposed to the place he was at previously. He had been difficult and stubborn about being helped with hygiene, eating, etc. but now he is like a new person! I just went to visit the home once for a tour. I had to wait a little bit for the person to arrive but she was very nice when meeting her. I was there for a short time. From what I saw it seemed okay but it wasn't as nice as the other community I was interested in. The house didn't seem as clean, it was okay.

Serra Mesa is a board and care facility. The staff was warm and friendly. The residents seemed content. The location was fine and they also have home cooked meals. On their calendar they did have people who come for arts and grafts.

A little dark and dreary. No wifi. Processed foods. Bathroom small and kind of dirty.
