PositiveI thank God we found Shuler Health Care for my mother. They took wonderful care of her for over six years. When we first searched for care, we found numerous places that were two to three times the price, but none came close to the superior level of care she received at Shuler. They seem to maintain excellent quality control by utilizing small, family-like groups.

CriticalWe visited Shuler Health Care Assisted Living. When we pulled up, there was a whole bunch of men sitting outside of the facility, and we found out that that was the women's side. I asked the director there or whoever she was, do the men go inside the women's facilities, and do the women go to the men's facilities? And she said, no. But when we're leaving, you can see the men going in and out. She said that female staffers only take care of the female clientele, and then in the men's buildin…

CriticalI toured Shuler Health Care Assisted Living. The outside and the grounds were very nice, very clean, and kept up. However, the rooms were too small for double occupancy, and as far as my aunt is concerned, she would need more care than what they would be able to give her, and they don't have private bathrooms. There are two bathrooms for everyone to use in each unit, but after 11:00, there is no one to help the people. The person who gave the tour was lovely. She was very thorough, very nice, and seemed very k…

CriticalShuler Health Care Assisted Living was not suitable for my wife. There were two people in the room in all of the rooms that I saw. I asked about private rooms and I was informed that they'd have to ask the owner of the property about that (it'd be quite an exception). The prices at that place were surprisingly higher than all of the other places I looked at. The staff members were quite friendly and gave a business card and a one-sheet amenities summary, and that was it. They were very nice, but it seemed…

CriticalDon’t fall for the fakeness that is put on when you are looking. This place is no good. The staff do not take care of the residents! Management accepts no responsibility and blames everything on previous staff. All they are concerned about is money. Even use the resident's insurance cards to buy food. The Shulers are all about GREED!
★★★★★
CriticalThe Shulers put on a good show, but that’s all it is. The residents are not cared for properly and are mistreated by some of the house parents. Medication isn’t given as prescribed. No activities at all! The staff have no medical background and are just hired off the street to basically be sitters. Wouldn’t recommend.
