SILVER HILLS HEALTH CARE CENTER

IT'S RIDICULOUS THAT YOU CAN NOT GET IN CONTACT WITH A SOCIAL WORKER HERE. I'VE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND I HAVE WENT IN PERSON AND STILL NO LUCK AND NO CALL BACK. WHATS REALLY GOING ON. WE ARE NEEDING TO KNOW THE DISCHARGE PLANS OF OUR LOVED ONE. OH I FORGOT, THEY ARE TRYING TO USE UP EVERY DAY THEY CAN TO GET ALL OF THAT INSURANCE MONEY.

Never allow a loved one to go this awful place

Our Mom was placed at Silver Hills after several invasive cancer surgeries. The facility is sub par. I came on a Saturday to visit my Mom and discovered vomit and diarrhea all over the carpet of a main walkway. Then she had a bug infestation in her room that they never addressed. The physical therapy nurses intimidated our Mom and then they tried to have her Medicare stopped so she would have to leave. Our Mom couldn't get out of bed by herself, walk, or stand, and after our successful appeal for continued coverage…

Not a very good one

My mother was placed in this facility for rehab, I am living in Kansas City Mo at this time but I will be relocating to Las Vegas to care for my mom. I am not very impressed with this facility, my mother has been in rehab since [date removed] I have yet to speak with a Case Manager or a Social Worker concerning my mother regarding her case, I call and have to leave a voicemail, but then the voicemail is too full to leave a message. I have different agencies calling me about where I want my mother to be place at, wh…

I have no complaints about how things went for my mother and I during our tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. I liked how clean the property was and all of the great amenities they had for the residents. It was just not the right location in the end decision but I would recommend it to anyone interested.
