Solstice Senior Living At Groton

I love it here!

The people here for the most part are all pretty terrific. It is great for the loneliness I was feeling. There were too many memories there. I repeat "I truly love it here". I have a beautiful apartment with a terrace. By the way, it is pet friendly; and my dog is also making some new friends.

Nice facility. Very knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions. Took a good amount of time speaking with me. Staff was very friendly.

My Experience so far

Good experience so far. Friendly, helpful staff but currently short staffed. There is a variety of activities, the food is overall above average and te three meals a day are quite good. The grounds are looking a lot better with spring on its way and we have a new manager. Some good communication going on and although building and grounds are almost 40 years old I see improvement daily. I chose this residence over 6 others for one reason. The staff and residents made us feel welcome.

Solstice is a wonderful fit. No problems and no worries. I would recommend if you are in a situation as I was in or to get the relief I did that you give a look. Just touring the first time convinced me. Hoping to soon be a resident.....see you there!

Talk to the current residents, they give a lot of feedback when you are looking. I have gotten to know several of the residents there, it's a great place.

I visited the independent living community of Solstice Senior Living at Groton. My son-in-law found it for me, and I will be moving there in a month. It's a lovely senior living, and they have a lot of activities and services that are going to be good for me. They have a nice dining room, a coffee station, and a snack bar, and a kitchen area where you can cook things for yourself if you want to. They have a library, exercise equipment, and classes.
