Solstice is an independent l living community. They serve breakfast, lunch & dinner 7 days a week. The quality of the food is good. Various activities are planned a n d scheduled weekly. It is always clean and well maintained. Independent contractors provide many different services at an additional price per service. FREE daily bus service within a 10 mile radius for doctor appointments and shopping.

[name removed] was amazing, so friendly and kind. The residents were all smiles and so friendly. It reminded me of the old neighborhoods, were everyone looked out for one another. It's a wonderful place giving seniors back their independence. I can't say enough great things.

I visited Solstice Senior Living at Joliet. They're very involved with the residents there. They have a lot of activities. I was very satisfied with the staff. They toured me through the whole facility, walked with me, and explained everything. The appearance was really nice. It's very clean. The rooms were very spacious. The dining area was beautiful. It looked like somewhere you would have a wedding.

Solstice Senior Living at Joliet is horrible. It's nothing like they sold you before you came in. Once you're in, everything changes. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone. All they do is raise the prices and cut the services. I'm into my first year. One of the little tricks they use is when you sign your contract, they sign it for the month that you move in, so they can raise it at the first of the month next year. They don't even let you be here a year before they raise your rent. When som…

Seem busy at times and delay things because of it. Or make you seem like your normal request is not important. But most times they are kind and willing to talk about it.
