Sopris Lodge at Carbondale

Had a very good visit. was greeted by a person looking out for me; I did not have to go hunting for the guide. Very impressed with the facilities. They have spacious indoor accommodations and an area outside.

Very comfortable and warm decor. Great menu and list of activities. Room for the memory care residents was Clean and safe. Residents seemed content. No disturbances. The grounds are well kept and free of ice. Liked being able to keep your pet.

Magnificent Place with Above & Beyond Staff

The rooms, buildings, and food are excellent. The location is ideal - 1 block from Main Street but in a beautiful country setting. The town is awesome too! However, it is the people that make this place. The residents are largely simply lovely people, and the staff... Well honestly, you could not ask for better people. So kind, loving, attentive, and truly decent caring folks. I cannot say enough about them. They are the heartbeat of this place, and they make it a welcoming and joyful place to live and visit.

We placed a deposit for Sopris Lodge at Carbondale, but it's very close to where I live. The manager, Marie, was just very helpful, just a lovely lady. Very useful, helpful, personable, knowledgeable, and willing to work with me. And the facility's very new, and clean. My parents are going to go into assisted living, and the assisted living section was very calming. Not a lot of stimuli, muted colors, and ease of getting around, whereas independent living would be somewhere where I would like to go. Lots …

We're going to be moving my father-in-law into the Sopris Lodge at Carbondale. The staff was extremely friendly, and the directors were wonderful to work with and easy to tell us details and steps as there were many steps that we were not aware of. For the most part, it's bright and it's got lots of beautiful artwork. It looks like a beautiful hotel.
