Steeplechase Gracious Retirement Living

Glad we be found Steeplechase! Was what our friends needed.

The staff was very friendly. They have "ambassadors " who are residents that sit with you and share their experiences . That was nice. The room that Sdam and Shirley got was a one bedroom handicapped accessible which was important as Adam needs to sit in the shower. Having no bathtub to step into was important. The rooms are small and compact. Everything is very clean. My only observation that was less than desirable was the food quality. But I'm an old restaurant owner and I simply expect better food.

Perfect fit

I brought my cousin for a visit and she loved it. We had a nice lunch and met the staff. She decided that day Steeplechase was the place for her. She has a first floor apartment with a living and dining area. It also has a large bedroom and bath. Just the amount of space she needs. Her apartment also has a direct door to outside which is perfect for her because she enjoys early morning walks. She also appreciate the access to the van transportation to the neighborhood shopping and bank. All in all she is very satis…

Stopped in unannounced and was given the royal treatment. It is obvious the residents love the facility. It was a toss up between Steeplechase and it's sister facility, Carriage House, next door. The pricing being basically the same we went with the newer property for my Mom. I would highly recommend both facilities. Many thanks

Steeplechase Gracious Retirement

I was looking for a place for my cousin who was in assisted living but really didn't need all the restrictions they provided. Steeplechase was a perfect fit for her. The atmosphere was so homey and the food was delicious. We were immediately welcomed by the friendly, helpful staff. She got a place on the first floor with access to a small patio outside. She is involved in several activities and appreciates having the salon on site for haircuts. The freedom provided by the van transportation services is great. They …

A little outdated. Window air conditioners. Not much in the way of a kitchen. Employees were super nice. Just not what we are looking for.

My new home

One of the first things I love is I don't have to cook. The food is good however I don't like everything they cook but nobody likes everything we all have different opinions about food so therefore some like it and others don't but that's the way it is anywhere. Second I don't have to clean house. I don't have to wash my towels and my sheets since it's done for me. Third there are activities going on constantly so you can always have something to do.
