CriticalGreat staff, good food, nice apartment and facility but insufficient medical assistance. The only medical they provide is med mgmt. Should not be allowed to be called an ALF as they won't even take a blood pressure reading, no vitals except temp, they won't lift a patient up if they fall or slip in the shower- they have to call 911 for lift assist. Not different enough from independent living to justify the excessive cost increase.

PositiveMy loved one was here for a month or two and when I visited a couple of times, everything looked fine. It seemed clean and the staffing was good. I would definitely recommend Stone Hill at Andover to others based off of what I saw.

CriticalWe picked this community, because it was newer, close to my loved ones appointments, and in proximity to other family members. They are very good with isolation for COVID-19. They need to improve on, nursing care and medication administartion. They need more interaction with the residents.

PositiveWe had visited quite a few different communities and we have to say Stone Hill is one of the most expensive in the area, but the staff members are very good with the residents and great to work with. We really appreciate how encouraging they are with the residents when it comes to activities and whenever they have outside visitors come in like musical entertainment, they make sure to involve the memory care residents. PositiveWe chose Stone Hill because they had a memory care unit, the people were very nice, and the facility was brand new. They have things like a hair salon, dining room, movie theater, etc so they have a lot of offer. They also had a shared room available and the price for that was great.
