I don't like to be overly negative, but I have had some frustrations recently. The memory care director is wonderful and genuinely seems to care about the residents. There are also several aides who are kind, compassionate, and attentive. However, the level of care and communication can be inconsistent. Some staff members are very caring, while others can come across as rushed or less personable. The food is also often not well received. Staff has been great, place is super clean, food is outstanding. My Dad is picky and he loves the food. He's in a studio which is plenty of room for him even with a double size bed in there and his easy lift chair. There's always activities going on, they have a "pub" in the down stairs with live music a pool table, etc. He gets his showers as scheduled, they clean his room weekly, do his laundry weekly, there are seating areas inside and out, plenty of parking when I visit. The admin and dining room staff were great!! The food was varied, presented well, and tasty. The cleanliness of the facility was immaculate. My mom's room was more than roomy enough, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We plan to use them again!

PositiveMaking a difficult decision much easier
It is a difficult decision with a lot to consider. [name removed] from Giving Tree was very helpful and went out of her way to make my parents feel comfortable and welcome there. I really am extremely happy with how things have turned out. The fact that there is a Pub there was a huge plus. They have never really been into organized activities but having live music and Happy Hours gets them socializing, which they didn't have at all prior to moving there.
