Well beyond what I noted above, my dad did not love the food, we were disappointed in the staff - they made little attempt to acknowledge the sharp loss in independence and called me to complain about him, which felt inappropriate honestly. He was in what was the equivalent of a large hotel room, but we were desperate for an immediate short term placement and they did keep him safe. That's about the best I can say.

My sister and I toured this place [date removed]. We were greeted by all the staff with smiles and welcomes. We found out that many of the staff had been working there over 10 years. That is impressive. They have the resources to care for our other sister including when she will need more services. So we wouldn't have to move her as her issues progress. We saw the staff being very attentive to the residents. They have a lovely outdoor area. Everything was clean.

The staff is friendly and attentive. The facility appears clean. My aunt did not participate in any activities and did not eat in the dining room.

I felt the staff was competent and very caring although I felt the facility was understaffed. I think that is a problem nationwide though.

Our initial interactions were positive, but our experience with other staff was less supportive. Rather than working collaboratively to address concerns, communication often felt critical and unhelpful. Given that our loved one was adjusting to significant life changes, we had hoped for a more compassionate and solution-oriented approach. Overall, we were disappointed in how our family was treated despite our efforts to be cooperative and engaged.
