PositiveMy Mom is a resident and is happy
They go over and beyond to care for my Mom. They have fun activities for the residents too. My mom has an ostomy and they are the only assisted living facility to provide that care. Her apartment is nice and has plenty of closet space.

My overall experience is good. There is one nurse that isn't very friendly at least wasn't to me. I try not to have to talk to her. My father doesn't like the food there but that could by his tastebuds. All the administration is kind and willing to answer any of my questions or concerns quickly . [name removed] doesn't participate in very many activities but they have a calendar full. They keep the room clean and his laundry done . I'm happy overall with the facility.

A friend of ours recommended Kauhale for my father-in-law. We could not be more pleased! Everyone is kind, courteous, friendly, and extra caring. The facility is spotlessly clean and the landscaping is beautiful. They have 3 room sizes - studio, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom. The food is excellent and plentiful. activities at the facility include bingo, dominoes, a weekly happy hour, musical events, and special occasion family gatherings. A friend of ours recommended Kauhale to us for my father in law. We could not be more pleased with this facility! There were two price increases in 7 months, and we were private pay. The transportation bus was broke down for around 4 months. The promise of repairs each week that never happened and he would be on the books needing a ride and no notice of issues ahead of time so many missed appointments.
