Great Staff, Great Experience

Sunrise McLean has the friendliness staff. They truly seem to know each resident well and show them love and respect. This is true from the maintenance staff all the way up to administration. The nursing staff are exceptional. Everyone seems to work as a team and do everything to support the services. For example [Name Removed] serve meals and the wait staff will help with dressing. I couldn't ask for a better experience for my mom.

Our family met with [name removed] and [name removed]. They were positive and answered all of our questions. We met other residents and they seemed to like living there. The facility is just beautiful—clean, bright and cheerful. We felt this facility is designed with residents in mind and staff have a heart for this work.

I visited Sunrise of McLean to look at their assisted living facility. It's very clean and very pleasant. I had visited something with big views in another county, so comparing it with this one was difficult, but at the same time, it was interesting because you don't have to pay a lot of money upfront here. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband moved to Sunrise of McLean. He needs additional help with so many things. He is actually on their third floor, which is primarily memory care. He has Parkinson's, so he has a little bit of dementia, and he gets excellent care up there. They watch him all the time. They make sure that he doesn't try to get up unassisted, and they make sure that he gets assistance getting up and going into the bathroom and helping with his showers. I had a great tour at Sunrise of McLean. It was a lovely facility. The staff there was very informative and helpful. We saw the new updated Denver floor plan, and it was beautiful. I didn't try their food, but they have a nice daily menu that gives nice options. I think their amenities are comparable to others I've seen. They provide some nice activities, off-site and on-site too.

The experience has been good overall.

The only problem I have had was some miscommunication. When matters I was confused about were brought to the attention of the pertinent parties/department, they were immediately addressed so I could understand. Basically my husband and I are very satisfied with his care and attention. There is a lot of love and compassion given to all of the residents. The facilities are well maintained and homey.
