Devastating

“The Cottages, located in Boise, Idaho, prides itself on treating people right.” The Cottages took over Regency Columbia shortly after my mother became a resident in the assisted living facility. Yesterday, [date removed], my mother was informed that she had 30 days to find another facility as the current facility would be closing for renovations. Positive

Great place for value, and a nice location.

They went through a change in ownership recently, which was a little rough initially, especially with administrative things. But their staff is really friendly. They're busy, so sometimes it takes a bit to get back to you, but they normally do. Our person likes it there, both the occupants and the help she receives. They have really good meal selection. And the location is nice, not quite in the foothills but away from the business of the city.

I would recommend

We chose Regency Columbia Village because they were the only ones with availability when we were needing it. They have really friendly staff, the only challenge is the level of staffing but I know that this is an issue everywhere. Overall I would recommend them to others.

I visited this facility

I went to visit. It was excellent and the rooms were a nice size. Basically, it was a one bedroom. It had a division between the galley kitchen and the living area, and it had a nice little view, and you could have the first or the second floor. They have activities, events, they take you to appointments. My brother-in-law would have had his meds delivered because he's having some issues with memory.
