The Courtyard at Fitchburg

Highly recommend

Weekend staff is insufficient. Everything else on the list is a 5. The place is only two years old so some people don't know about it but I highly recommend it.

Overall impression

I think Courtyard is a clean facility. Food quality, variety and quantity seem to be very good. The staff seems to be good. The activities are many and they seem to make a good effort to get the residents to participate. My biggest concern is the amount of turnover in all staff. There has been an exceptional amount of change in staff in the last year.

[Name Removed] met us at the door and took us on a tour of the Courtyard. We found it to be very clean, beautifully decorated and with lots of wonderful amenities. Sarah was kind, friendly, and very informed. We loved Courtyard, but unfortunately we are looking for a two-bedroom unit which Courtyard does not have. From the moment we walked in, the team was welcoming, patient, and willing to answer every question we had. These decisions are not easy, and I appreciated that the conversation never felt rushed or sales-driven. The memory care area felt secure, calm, and thoughtfully designed. Impressed visitor

I recently visited a family member at this facility and was pleasantly surprised by her apartment and the lunch we had. I feel confident she is getting good care when she needs it and she is very happy there. She has connected with some old classmates which was sweet to see.

Courtyard is a great assisted living community! They've made a lot of changes over the past few months that have really improved things. Everyone on the staff is very easy to talk to and you really get the sense that they care about the residents. They go out of their way to make sure that things are being taken care of. Really positive experience; would recommend touring if you are looking for a loved one in the Fitchburg area.
