Very disappointed. A lot of money

I lived at Engel Haus For almost one year. The care givers were hard workers and nice. The only office personnel who cared about the residents was Carol in the front office. Food was decent and plenty of it, however full of carbs. One time they put the place on lock down, due to a few residents having the flu, and not wanting to spread it. I liked this community and it was my first choice. The community is clean and they do offer a meal plan. The staff I met were nice. I was on the waiting list for over a year and had not heard anything. I did find another community that was a little less expensive than this one.

My father's comfort

We like the care of this community for my father. The staff are attentive. We like knowing that he is in a clean community. The menu is appealing and he seems to like the menu. They offer activities for the resident who want to participate. We would recommend the care of this community for other families for good care and value.

Wonderful Facility

The staff is really wonderful. The facility is gorgeous and they really do try to work with you; with finances and schedules and getting people in. They could improve on having a little more activities. My mom is in memory care, so it's different, but the activities are not bad or over-the-top, they're just good.

We toured this location when we were looking into options for our loved one. It was a very nice looking community, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was more expensive than others we had looked at, and I didn't feel like they provided the services and amenities to justify the higher price.

We just had a short visit, but it was dark and kind of outdated. The staff was friendly, but the other place we went was so much better.
