My loved one was previously a resident at The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care and the experience was terrible. The quality of care was terrible. I would not recommend The Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care to anyone, it was a horrible experience for us.

I visited this facility

The gardens has had a new administrator step in and she has done an amazing job with this facility. Staff is very helpful and caring. The building is having cosmetic renovations going on which Is great for the facility. Residents are happy and seem very well taken care of and the pricing is a plus👍🏻

There is a new team now and they are really trying to improve things . Let's see what happens. They have already started making some changes.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother was at the Gardens Assisted Living Facility & Memory Care. She was fine when she went in there. It was horrible. They were always shorthanded. People kept not coming to work. The first three days she was in there, on the weekend, there was nobody supervising. It was just one patient care person for the 40 or so people they had in the facility. They had this kitchen supervisor moving patients and changing diapers. It was horrible. It was filthy. The room they showed me when I went in to look at the pla…

Trying with what they have to work with

He hasn't seen a doctor yet. I was told that would happen. I have an appointment for him at a doctor. I'm not sure he gets his blood pressure medicine daily. They seem to be overworked and under staffed. [name removed] was sick and I let them know but I'm not sure anyone checked on him. I wash his laundry because a laundry basket I left for him was never emptied. He has had one outing . I try to get him out once a week. I think this is par for the course for most facilities.
