The Haven Assisted Living at Eleanor

I cared for my Mother, who had Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia, for a few years until it got to be more than I could handle. My mom fell was never ever ever told about until the day she died, I checked her precious body, she was bruised from her legs to her arms.. the family knew nothing of this fall and when I asked the staff about it, they shook their heads and acted like we should have been told. .the fall happened on a Saturday she passed that Monday....yeah she had terminal cancer but she was up and walking around 2 days before the fall that no one told us about...and the owner didn't even return my calls...the haven in mechansville…

I visited this facility

We're going to place my mom at The Haven Assisted Living @ Eleanor because it might be a good match for her. She's going to be the 6th person in this house. They have live-in caregivers there 24 hours a day. What I liked most about it is the low resident-to-caregiver ratio. They're licensed to take in only 7 residents. They kept the place very clean, and there was no odor whatsoever. I saw the residents and they were all dressed and clean, looked like they were all cared for. The place is like a 2000…

Horrible facilities

Don't take your loved one here. They are mean, will not communicate with the residents. They resort to physical force and should not be allowed to take in any adults who can not fend for themselves. They lied about everything they do and all residents must sit in front of the television all day. They are not allowed to do anything on their own. We are happy with the care

This is a great care home. The owner is unbelievable and knows how to manage. The food looks great and the other residents seem to like it. The caregivers are attentive and make sure the residents receive the care they need. They keep the home clean and they do offer some activities, however I do think they could use a few more activities. I am so happy we found this care home and I would recommend it.

Great Care

This is a nice community. Very clean and taken care of. The staff is very nice and always very helpful. The meals that are offered are very appealing. Great activities are offered. I would recommend this community for other families.
