we are extremely happy with the IVY it is a really really nice place and the people working there are terrific thank you for sending us there we really appreciate it and again we love the place and so does my parents. yes I would definitely recommend the community it is really wonderful people are happy there and very very nice. Mom was resistant to moving from her home. After a month she has settled in nicely. She thanks me nearly every day for finding her such a nice community. Has already started making friends,and uses in onsite hair salon every week. My niece came to visit and said it felt like a resort.

CriticalThe tour and meal were comparable to other facilities. It is a small community, therefore limiting the number of IC and AC units available. We did not get to see ant 2BR AC unit. As for IC units, there is no private garage to protect a vehicle from hail, ice and heavy snow. We have one more facility to visit before we can narrow the search.

The dining staff has been the best. They remember everyone's little preferences, names, and always have my husband's Diet Coke ready even before ordering! Always friendly and wanting to please. The food is great! The housekeeping staff is equally great! I am not used to this luxury and it sure makes my life easier as I can spend my energy and time focusing on my husband's care since he has severe dementia. You do not want to put your loved one here for Assisted Living. This facility is definitely just for Independent living. The expectation is you will be up, dressed and ready to go to the dining restaurant by 0800 for breakfast or you are not a good fit for this facility.
