PositiveWe are extremely happy with The Lingenfelter Center for Alzheimer's Care - The Lingenfelter Center. I am happy that my husband got to go there. The thing that I like most is the staff, the CNAs, the nurses, and the doctors. The ones who deal directly with the residents are marvelous. I'm overjoyed with them. They're very respectful towards the residents. I don't know that there is anything that I don't like about them. It hasn't even been half a year yet, but so far, I'm very happ…

CriticalInappropriate company that only cares about what they can benefit from it. Multiple rude comments made about my family member, and un explained bruises and cuts on them even saw the rudeness/comments such as their weight and "why can't they just go to the bathroom on their own". They did not care what I had to say when I brought up to the administration and HR department, That such CNA that made the comment. All to find out about that such CNA was related to one of the administration/ supervisors. Su…

CriticalThe Lingenfelter Center is a memory unit and it seems like everybody is on the same page as far as caring about the residents. My wife is in a dual room with two people in it, which is different from any other place we've been. They just have a common area which they turned into a dining room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's a community room where they have activities. They also have an outdoor patio that you can go out and walk on and it's gated in. It's very nice when it's cooler…

CriticalWhat they don't tell you at admission: Your family member will not be placed onto their prescribed diet. So, say if they are diabetic they will get to eat brownies, fruit loops, cake, etc. Same goes for cardiac or any other medical prescribed diet. Another thing you are not told at the time of admissions is that your family member WILL be seeing the facilities part time physician- No choice! That physician you and your family member whom you have built a trusting relationship with- forget about them! The facil…

PositiveMy husband has been a resident at The Lingenfelter since January 2019. He has Parkinsons and dementia. Several other facilities could not provide the level of care he needed. I have been pleased with the support and care from staff and feel they take an interest in each resident. They offer activities and provide encouragement and support to assist him with his meals. The nurses are always willing to answer any questions about his care and it has been very helpful to be able to have Skype video calls during these d…

PositiveOur loved one has been a resident of The Lingenfelter Center since late 2015 following several severe acute medical issues. During this time, we have been appreciative of the care, assistance, patience and communications from both the administrative and frontline staff. Over the years our loved one has had several ups and downs due to her chronic medical conditions and we have found the staff pays close attention to the daily changes of residents and reacts in the most caring and compassionate ways with the best in…
