★★★★★
PositiveThey have great staff, lots of food choices, lots of activities. It is kept very clean. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

CriticalMy mother was at The Montera, and she hated it, sadly. She was there for three weeks. She was in memory care, and I think that was part of the problem. It was a nice place. In terms of finding a place for your senior parent, I recommend it. It's just my mom was so spoiled, she didn't like it. She was in between, because sometimes she had lucid moments and she was perfectly normal, but she was with all these people who completely lost their minds. It was really hard for her to be in there. She was in a ver…

CriticalRooms were better sized at this building, but the distance to walk to anything was TOO much for my father. We will keep looking. Staff was great and the buildings were lovely however.
★★★★★
PositiveMy mother was a resident there for several months before her passing. I can't say enough about the beautiful care she received. There are some truly wonderful people working there. The facility is quite inviting. It has multiple buildings, outdoor space, a theater, a puzzle room, a Koi Pond, and more. There are plenty of daily activities to keep everybody busy. The food was good. There was a wide variety to choose from. I would give the Montera a higher rating, but there were several issues with medication mixups…

PositiveWe were impressed with Montera as a place for [name removed] to be placed. Unfortunately, [name removed] condition changed before we could move in and the family felt that it was best for her to come to our home under hospice. The Montera was very understanding of our needs and assisted us in every way they could in helping us make the change to home care. Wish it would have worked out to place her in the Montera because it was apparent that they have an outstanding facility. I would recommend them.
