PositiveMy mother moved in about 2 months ago. She has settled in to her new lifestyle. It was a hard transition for her to leave her home. But she made so many friends already and enjoys the daily activities. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. When I visit her, staff and residence are always smiling. I even stayed and played some games one afternoon. It really is very nice to know that my mom is happy in her new community.
★★★★★
PositiveShe was in Memory Care for 7 weeks and had significant improvement in her anxiety and depression which had been increasing over the last 2 years when she had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She even seemed to be getting some of her memory back. The only suggestion I have would be to improve their communication on what is required to make sure medical care is administered by them vs patients current pcp
★★★★★
CriticalYou had to park across the road because no parking in front of the building. Cost was $[removed]more than other places I have seen.
★★★★★
PositiveEveryone was so nice and sincere. We never got the “car salesman” pushy feeling. The place was very clean and had all of the amenities that my brother was looking for. We had lunch in their dining room and it was excellent! First real meal I had in over a week. After talking it over at lunch, my brother said that he made his decision. The Oaks is where he’ll live!
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff is wonderful, caring, attentive, informative. Rooms have plenty of space and closets. Facility is immaculate.
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff at The Oaks have been very responsive and answered all questions in a timely fashion before and during the move in process. I like that the staff greet my father in law by name each time they see him. He seems happy and he is enjoying the meals. I think additional encouragement to engage in exercise and activities would be helpful, but that's the only 'negative' I can think of.
