I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

What I like the most about The Woodlands of Ocean Pines is that the front desk is very friendly and the activities that they have seem to be great. My relative lives in the assisted living and the residents there have a lot of options for them to do. They have a movie room, a puzzle room, a very pretty dining room, a game room, a card room, and a convenient hair salon. I visited this facility

Catered Living of Ocean Pines was nice. It was more of a community arrangement versus a senior citizen home. It used to be a 55 and over, and they're transitioning over to senior care and I like that. They had two-bedrooms, two-baths. They had plenty of things to do. It's a small and quaint facility. The staff was very pleasant. The facility was clean. They had a lounge, dining area, game area, activity area, and a library.

I visited this facility

The Woodlands was very close, but they do not have the facility for my dad. However, they might be too close, and I was afraid my dad would come out and walk around the corner. They didn't have a dementia or Alzheimer's lock down section, but I heard that they were looking into doing that. They had the independent living, and then they had the nursing home; there's no in between.

The one-bedroom apartment I saw was very small for the price. I thought it was a little expensive. They did have a beauty shop there; however, when we visited, people were out in their little deck still in their pajamas and were eating from a tray. There were only a couple of them in the dining room that morning. Apparently, it would cost more to e…
