Staff was mostly great, some seemed less engaged with their jobs. Activities Coordinator was amazing in the memory case unit. Room was adequate size and no cleanliness issues in the room. Mostly everyone were concerned about the well being of my mom and to time with her. The negatives, smell in the memory care unit was unpleasant relative to other facilities. The food and kitchen area was dirty and constantly un-kept.

Pros and cons

Activities were great and the activities team was awesome. Especially fun was Manicure ?? Monday at 10 am and Happy Hour during the week at 4 pm. Food was pretty good but there were not enough servers so food orders and such were slow during peak hours. Dining room was beautiful and open all day. Mom also was served sodas whenever she wanted one. Building was clean always! Apt was sized perfectly. The only complaint and why we left was the nursing staff and consistency of care. I liked Traditions well enough to move Mom in. Looking forward to the opportunity for Mom to experience the care here. It sounds great!

I would recommend Traditions at Camargo

So far the staff is very friendly and helpful. The Admin staff is excellent ([names removed] at the front desk)The ladies on the MC floor are really good. I haven't learned their names yet. I ate lunch there in the main dining room and it was delicious. I'm hoping that my opinions stay high as time goes on.

Traditions at Camargo was a nice assisted living facility.. my mom was quickly moved to memory care little under a month after being there. The memory care was one of the most expensive around and the care was the lowest of all. We were very disappointed by the lack of care and the filth they left my mom to live in was very disappointing. I would not put them at the top of my list for someone in my mom's position..

Happy with our choice

They've had a lot of changes in personnel...from the top to the bottom...no consistency. My mom complains about this. Since she's in independent living, I don't think it's really affected her too much. If/when she moves to assisted living, I think this will be an issue. The place is very nice and well maintained. My mom doesn't love the food (she says it's "institutional") but my sister has dinner with her pretty regularly and my sister said the food is good (not great, but not "institutional ".).
